Every other year, the Inter-Departmental European Avanced Studies Programme (IDEAs) organises Colloqium, that bring together academics and professionals, students and professors, departments and disciplines. 

In 2025, IDEAs organized a Conference dedicated to the Jacques Delors' legacy. 

In 2023, IDEAs organized a Conference dedicated to the studies of EU staff and professionals. IDEAs also co-orginazed an inter-departmental workshop on Foresight in the EU, in collaboration with the IRD Department. 

In 2022, IDEAs organized a Conference looking into the anthropological approaches and perspectives on the EU.
