The EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies programme includes a study trip to Geneva, Switzerland, in early spring. Geneva is the European centre for multilateral diplomacy and home, among other organisations, to the European seat of the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The European Union is represented by a Permanent Mission to the WTO and a Permanent Delegation to the United Nations Office and other international organisations. 

 

The study trip allows students to engage with a variety of professionals and to gain new practical insights into international and European diplomacy and career opportunities.
