Sciences Po Dijon students visit Tirana campus

At the beginning of the academic year, students first attend an intensive compulsory course to refresh and update their knowledge on how the EU works internally:
In the remainder of the first semester, they attend the following compulsory courses, which offer a comprehensive overview of EU external action, providing the foundation for further specialisation in the second semester:

In order to help them preparing for their Master’s thesis in the field of EU diplomacy and external action studies, students also take part in the compulsory course on research methodology:
Moreover, students enrol in a compulsory language course throughout the academic year. Except for French, these courses are mostly offered at a beginners’ level, thus allowing students to add another language to their skill set.
In the second semester, students choose four optional courses and follow two compulsory courses which build on the knowledge and skills acquired in the first semester: an intensive, one-week simulation exercise involving interactive role play on how the European Union responds to international crises, and one or two courses on the European Neighbourhood Policy which comprises many policy fields:
