Matija Aron LOJPUR (FR/RS) joined the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies as an Academic Assistant in August 2025.
He holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe (2024-2025, Jacques Delors promotion), a Master’s degree in International Public Management from Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs (2018-2020), and a BA from Sciences Po Paris (2015-2018), where he attended the Dijon Campus, specialised in European Affairs and Central and Eastern Europe.
He previously worked at the OECD as a Policy Analyst (March 2020-August 2024), supporting economic reforms in the Western Balkans in several policy areas, including energy, transport, and digital transformation. He also has experience as an intern at the OSCE Mission to Serbia (August 2019-January 2020), where he supported the political reporting and media monitoring work of the Office of the Head of Mission.
Fields of interest: EU enlargement, EU-Central Asia relations, Eastern Neighbourhood, EU-Russia relations, infrastructure and connectivity, energy policy.
