Julie VERDUYN (BE) joined the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies as an Academic Assistant in August 2025.
She holds a Master of Arts in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges (2024-2025, Jacques Delors promotion) as well as a Master of Laws (2022-2024) and a Bachelor of Laws (2019-2022) from KU Leuven. During her previous Master’s programme, she majored in Social Law and carried out a one-year Erasmus exchange at Maastricht University (2023-2024) to pursue a minor in EU and International Law.
Fields of interest: EU external relations law, international cultural relations, EU peace mediation, EU external climate and environmental policies, gender.
