Francesca Pengo joined the College of Europe in March 2026 as a Project Assistant at the Executive Education, Training and Projects Office.
Previously, Francesca worked as a Junior Policy and Research Officer and as a Project and Policy Trainee at the European University Foundation, where she contributed to the organisation of events and the implementation of EU-funded projects. Her professional background combines experience in Higher Education policies, non-formal education and student counselling, developed across Italy, Poland and Belgium.
Francesca holds a Master's degree in Foreign Languages and International Relations from Università Cattolica of Milan and an Advanced Master's degree in EU Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Migration Policies from Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Apart from her native Italian, she is fluent in English and French and has a conversational level of Russian and Spanish. At the moment, she is learning Dutch.
