Aura SABADUS

Dr Aura SABADUS is an energy and cross-commodity expert with the London-based Independent Commodity Intelligence Services (ICIS), a global energy and petrochemicals news and market data publisher.
She is also an Associate Fellow of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and a Non-resident Senior Fellow with the Democratic Resilience Programme at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).
She has written extensively on energy security and political risk and takes a particular interest in energy supply dynamics in the Black Sea region.
In a previous role as a research fellow of the Energy Community, an international organisation working to extend free market principles to the wider Eastern European region, she supported energy market reform efforts in Ukraine and Moldova.
She is frequently quoted in the international mainstream media, speaks at industry and academic conferences, and teaches at London-based universities.
Dr SABADUS holds a PhD in International Relations from King’s College London.
