The Climate and Energy Transition Nest at the College of Europe in Natolin was pleased to organise the Natolin Oaks Project II - Grow your own tree!
This activity is part of the Natolin Oaks Project, an initiative representing the ongoing effort to preserve the historic oak trees in the Natolin Park and to promote environmental awareness. During the session, led by Mr Mateusz KORBIK, a certified tree inspector and doctoral student at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, students had the opportunity to plant acorns from 400-year-old oak trees and learn about the importance of urban trees in combating climate change.
It was a unique chance to contribute to the preservation of natural heritage while gaining hands-on experience in tree cultivation.
