ASEFYLS6 Navigator Training at the College of Europe in Natolin
The College of Europe in Natolin was proud to co-host the ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS6) Navigator Training, a pivotal programme organised in close partnership with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). As a preparatory initiative leading to the 6th ASEF Young Leaders Summit, to be held in Osaka, Japan (29 September – 5 October 2025), this training brought together a diverse group of young changemakers from across Asia and Europe.
At the heart of the programme was a commitment to intercultural dialogue, inclusive leadership, and a deeper understanding of Society 5.0—a vision of a human-centered, innovation-driven society. Over five intensive days, participants engaged in a range of dynamic activities that helped them reflect critically on the role of leadership in the digital age. The training focused on equipping young leaders with the tools to become effective facilitators, team-builders, and cultural bridge-builders in international environments.

Central to the experience was the emphasis on values-based leadership, intercultural communication, and digital transformation, encouraging Navigators to explore the ethical dimensions of leadership in increasingly complex societies. Through collaborative learning, reflection, and peer engagement, participants not only built key competencies but also forged lasting connections across continents.
The Navigator Training reaffirmed the shared mission of ASEF and the College of Europe in Natolin: to empower the next generation of leaders with the skills, perspectives, and networks needed to shape a more inclusive and sustainable future for both Asia and Europe.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who made this programme possible:

- Ambassador Paul BALLANTYNE (New Zealand to Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia)
- Ms Elisa CASTALDO, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Belgium in Poland
